Clear It Out in Yellow

Clear It Out for Dad!

Today is the FIRST Tuesday of the Month, 

which means it is my week to do the challenge over at 

CLEAR IT OUT!

This biweekly challenge is

THEME: Father's Day/ Male

STASH: Eyelets

To clear it out, I used some paper that has been on my shelf for over TWO years...

And my eyelets, which have been hiding in a drawer for about the same!  

I am NOT the biggest fan of eyelets (though I have many!), so this challenge was great because I actually used some of my stash!

I made an 8x8 layout:

I am not the best colorer, but I didn't do TOO bad!

I opened the Golfer Image into my Silhouette Studio program, 

traced him and offset him to make the black outline layer. 

I did the print and cut option. Very handy so I didn't have to cut him out by hand!

I let the trace be right on the outline of the digital image so he wouldn't have a white outline.

Clear It Out Tuesday

Good Morning!

It's TUESDAY...

And the 1st Tuesday of March, so that means there is a new challenge up at CLEAR IT OUT!

The challenge is

THEME: EASTER (bunnies, chocolate, spring colors)

STASH: Use up some of your pastels

Here is the card I made

Our sponsor is A Day For Daisies and I used their gorgeous Daisy Window.

I paper pieced the entire image.

I like to size my picture in word, then copy and paste about 4 of that image.

I print it out, then cut my scrap or pattern paper to fit the entire image and use temp tape to adhere it in place over the already printed image. 

I then run the page back through the printer and have 4 pattern paper versions of the image.

I am then able to cut each piece I want from each paper to piece my entire image!

All my papers came from my scrap pile, so can't tell you where a single one is from!

Well, actually, the background on the image is from a fancy journal my oldest brother bought for me when I was like 10! The dotted paper is My Minds Eye, and the base is Image Plus+. The yellow... no clue!

I paper pieced this image a LOT! I printed on 3 different pattern papers and my base for this image! 

The only one I can tell you is the monster was printed on paper from Summer Time Designs. The rest were scraps that I have no clue where they came from!

Here is another project I made using an image I purchased a while back from Bugaboo Stamps (our sponsor for the hop):

This is the little basket I made with my Silhouette for my son's Pre-K teachers for Valentine's Day. I designed the basket in Studio. I did the fence too!  I used the print & cut feature on Silhouette to print then cut the dragon. Much easier than having to cut him out by hand, though that isn't impossible!

The BE MINE Dragon is from the Clyde bundle I purchased a while ago at a discount. Bugaboo now has all the dragon images available for purchase separately HERE. 

 Here is the side view of this cute basket. The flower is a button from Creating Is Fun.

 As my son has TWO Teachers, I made TWO baskets! The colors are different, but they are the same! I used Copics to color in Be Mine Clyde. I used distressed Ranger Ink on the fence.

Clear It Out with LOVE

I used digi paper (can't tell you who since my computer died with all that info on it!), black lace trim, sequins, and HUGE doily are from Martha's Zibbet Shop: Creating Is Fun.

Clear It Out Tuesdays with Black Leaf Studios

Today is the day Clear It Out puts their new challenge up... 

This 2 week challenge is to make a Thank You card... 

I changed it up a little!

I made THANK YOU bag toppers for Hunter's next birthday party.  These will be given to the kids who show up to the party. I asked Hunter what he wanted on his invites and he told me TRAINS!  He is having his party at the local JUMP ZONE (if I can get it booked in time!), and so I didn't think there was really anything I could put together to go with a bounce house, so thought Trains would be perfect!

I just made the sentiment on my computer, and the paper is from BLACK LEAF STUDIOS. You can find the paper kit in BLS Etsy shop HERE.

In the bag is a sucker, some vampire teeth, and a glow in the dark stick! Has NOTHING to do with the party, but fun just the same!

The green Bakers Twine is from my shop RABOGNER DESIGNS.

Clear It Out Tuesday and Unity Friday

I wanted to share this with all my Unity Peeps since almost all the stamps on it were Unity. Only the Father Sentiment, the kraft colored tickets and Coupons are not Unity...

There is a new challenge over at the Clear It Out's Challenge Blog to use some trims on your projects.

I decided to make my husband a coupon book for his upcoming birthday. I used mailing envelopes for the pages and actually put my Bind It All to use to bind the book together! Bout time huh! Only had it for year!

Anyway, I used my spellbinder label 4 die to cut each end of the envelopes to make it easier to get the coupons out.

The coupons I made with a digital stamp. The stamping inside the book are from Unity Stamps as well as a clear stamp set for the little tickets.

Sentiment from Past Kit of the Month: Delightful Moments {KOM Dec 2009}.

This sentiment was also from Sweet & Sour Soup which I was kind of sad about. When purchasing this Fast Facebook Offer, I really thought these stamps were MUCH bigger than they turned out to be... BUT the sentiments are still great sentiments!

I made about 12 of these tickets with the computer. I printed the ticket on colored paper and then the centers on white and paper pieced them together. 

Some were signed by Hunter and say things like "Ice Cream for Two" and "Any activity of your choice!" 

Colton even has a ticket that says "Playing Ball."

FWF and Clear It Out

Today is Friends with Flair at Unity. See all participating HERE.

I made this little tag for Clear It Out's challenge to Paper Piece. 

I used a stamp I had never used before for the background. It is a little notebook page from one of the KOM sets (couldn't find it today!). I also used the Itty Bitty image that I got with my Store Kit a while back. Love this image!

The paper is a paper pack from Echo Park that I won. I used the paper to make a little book and had some small scraps left over I just couldn't throw away. I love how this tag turned out with the paper!

Negative Effect for Clear It Out

This week is an odd week for Clear It Out, so we are doing a special challenge.

Clear It Out with Color

Clear It Out Tuesday

We survived the last challenge at Clear It Out, and now it is time for a new one!

It's all about the ribbon and trim!

I am so very proud of the way my bow came out. I made my own little version of the bow easy and followed a tutorial from youtube.com to tie it. I think it turned out pretty awesome!
