Stamp With Fun #6

Stamp with Fun's {Monday Challenge} had a sketch challenge this week. There were two options with one being a square, and of course I chose the other one:

Basic Grey Challenge

For the Basic Grey Challenge, (a Saturday Challenge) the challenge was to do paper piercing. This means the paper had to be pierced in some way or the other.

This card was pierced by using 2 brads and eyelet in the center of the flowers, and then the pink strip across the card was pierced with a piercing tool to make it have a little something extra! I used BASIC GREY two scoops/ swirlie stamps (the only BG product I own) since I had to use a BG product per Challenge Rules. I stamped it in white across my cuttlebug texture to make the texture pop out a little bit more. I used a little glitter in a couple of the flowers too, though it is hard to tell in the picture!I used the SU Congrats set for the sentiment.

I tried to get a close up of the sentiment and the piercing of the strip, hopefully you can figure out whats what on my blurry fuzzy picture!

Hunter Speaks & Card Challenges

First off, let me say sorry that this video is sideways... my camera and I are having some issues that we can hopefully work through before I decide to throw it against the wall...!

Chris, Hunter, & I went to our FAVORITE store... the John Deere store! While there, I found this toddler hat that Hunter is modeling below. I told Chris that Hunter needed it since we hadn't been able to find a hat his size since his Grandpa Andy bought him one just before his first birthday. Chris said "NO" and then the sales rep that sold Chris is newest tractor said he would put it on his tab. So THANK YOU DOUG!!! I thought it was Very Nice of him since JD is usually expensive, especially for little kids stuff.
