A New Template - Sachet

A Sachet Template came out today from

AND guess what...

IT'S JUST ONE DOLLAR!!!

Go get it before this deal is GONE!

Here is what I did with this fabulous template:

AND guess what...
The yellow flowered paper is also from Kelleigh Ratzlaff Designs!

AND it too is on sale for JUST ONE DOLLAR!!!

The digital set is called

The Stamped Sentiment is from Unity Stamp Co.
I so so so LOVE this set!

I used my Silhouette SD to cut out the scalloped circle and Sachet Box.
I used my Spellbinders Circle Dies for the circle.
The wrap around the box is ribbon from Walmart.

Thanks for visiting!

GROWING IN UNITY 2013 - DAY 3

We have reached half way!
Day Three of Five!
And just 4 more days until my birthday...

And for today I have a gift box:
The box was cut with my Silhouette SD.
I used a template from Kelleigh Ratzlaff called

I used two different stamp sets for this project.
I stamped the darker layer with Versamark ink with the biggest flower from
The Sentiment frame is from the same set.
I bought that set a LONG while ago (like a year!), and just NOW got around to breaking it out!

The main image and sentiment are from WISHING YOU JOY.
I really love this Itty Bitty set.
(stay tuned or Friday... You WILL see this set again!)

I stamped the image in white and then used a light colored copic marker to add some depth to the flowers.

This little box is so prefect to fill with candy and given to someone for a birthday or the like.
The template is so simple to use, weather you are using an electric die cutting machine, or print and cutting by hand.

Thanks for visiting my blog, and don't forget to leave a comment for a chance to win TWO Itty Bitty's!!! (just think, you could get the flower and sentiment set that I used today... for free!)

That's the end to my WEDNSDAY.

HAPPY HUMP DAY PEOPLE!

Christmas Is Coming 2

Day TWO!!!

Growing IN Unity!!!

Don't forget to leave a comment for a chance to win two free Itty Bitties!

Today's project is for the KOM Sketch challenge found HERE.

Here is the sketch:

And here is how I used it:

I used a Tim Holtz texture on Kraft, then stamped the heart image from Sweet Summer Love KOM.
The lace for my flower is from Creating Is Fun
The center is a brad from WalMart I bought on clearance...
Studio G
I think!

Hexa-what?

Another Hexagon card:

I really like the colors I ended up using on this one.
I sent it with an order my Great Aunt made from my shop.

My friend Rhonda helped me with the stitching since her machine actually likes her!

Oh Honey, Honey...

I got a new die from PTI a while back, and have yet to show you anything I have made with it!
I also bought the corresponding stamp set to go with it.
Here are three cards I created:

The last one is my favorite, though the first one is nice and BRIGHT!

Thanks for looking!

Negative Effect for Clear It Out

This week is an odd week for Clear It Out, so we are doing a special challenge.

We want you to link us to your FAVORITE technique in tutorial form.

The tutorial does not need to be your own, we just want to see the one that is your favorite!

I actually made my own tutorial for one of my favorite techniques a while back:

And here is a few cards I made using this technique:
Stars and sentiment are from Unity.
 Sentiment is from Verve.
 Sentiment is from a Unity.
Stars and Sentiment are from Unity.
 Flowers and sentiment from Unity.
Heart and Sentiment are from Ippity.

Make It Monday

PTI issued a new challenge for simple frames this week.
Oh the ideas I have had, but oh the time I haven't found!

I took a couple of minutes last night and made this simple card.

Two of my brother's have a birthday in June, so I think I might make one more but in blue...

The green layer is foam I ran through the bug with PTI's Mat Stack 5 die.
Oh I wish they would make a stamp set JUST for this die like they did the other stack dies...
Coloring was done with Copics and line and sentiment was done with Stampin Up Old Olive.

Make It Monday

PaperTreyInk.com has a challenge on their BLOG every Monday that is explained with a video tutorial. This week was to use your dies to emboss instead of cut.

Well, I wanted to do many flowers as a textured background, and would require me to run the die through the machine more than once, and would flatten the first flower (is that clear?), so what I did instead was take the dies from the blossoms set and cut out a bunch of the flowers out of cereal boxes. I think I cheated a little on the challenge, but I did use the dies to emboss the image since I didn't have that shape as a texture plate...

I layered two flowers on top of each other and then laid out the flowers on my embossing machine. I then ran in through the machine with my cardstock on top.

This is how it turned out:
Stamp is PTI, along with die. Cardstock is Martha Stewart Craftstock, Georgia Pacific, Cereal Box Chipboard, fabric (yellow).

FWF CLEARING IT OUT

If you need some instructions on making flowers or just need the inspiration, there is a WHOLE POST on flower tutorials over on the challenge blog HERE.

Halloween Treats!

As October approaches, so does the next U.S. Holiday of HALLOWEEN!
That means all the spooky and creepy papers, stamps, and embellishments are begining to make their way onto the market.
Black Leaf Studio's has some really great papers and embellishments available now in the store. The paper I used on today's projects are from the Trick or Treat Patters.
Go check them out!
My projects are featured today on the Black Leaf Studio's Blog!
The card uses a cuttlebug frame (forget the name!) that I was gifted by my friend KRISTA! It took me some time to figure out the perfect way to use this texture, but I think it looks very neat on this Halloween card!
The box (Kelleigh Razlaff) uses one of the papers and a spider graphic. So very fun with all those legs and pink feet!
