Puff Box from Kelleigh Ratzlaff

Kelleigh has been at it again and made this adorable

Here's how I used it:

I cut EVERYTHING out on the Silhouette.
The Flower is a cutting file I made myself and the flourish is one provided with the Silhouette software!

Sometimes it is okay to be square!

I needed something cute to package some Christmas gifts in, and what better packaging than one I make myself?

Barrettes Now In Stock...

I have been trying to get some new listings in the shop...

Here are a few that have been listed this week:

These are all on Alligator Clips.
The Headband is NOT included.
Needed a way to keep the clip on the baby dolls head...
Since I only have boys who are NOT to be used as models!

AND, I wanted to share another HUGE thing I got for my birthday:

(Birthday Picture of us at the restaurant)

The NEW IPad!
My Husband is the Best in the WHOLE wide world!
I love that I can shout out to the whole world how much I love Chris.
I love to be able to show my friends and followers how much he spoils me!

A picture is worth a Thousand Words!

It rained so harvest is on hold for the next day or so.
SO, Chris and I went to the city yesterday.
Just me and him!
My dad is in town, so he kept the little monster and waited for Hunter to get off the bus.
So we were kid free! In the middle of the day!

My In-Laws got me a gift certificate for Red Lobster, so we went out to eat, and then we went and looked at some pants for me, and a leather jacket for him, but we just couldn't find anything we were completely satisfied with!
I am going to have to order me some jeans because the store that sells Ariat jeans doesn't carry 25 R (regular). All I could find were 25 L's (Way TOO Longs!)

We also went and picked up his new motor! I am so excited to hear it running. It looks beautiful, but I want to hear the roar of this engine!

Have a GREAT weekend everyone!
I know I will!

All about the Orange

It's all about the

(thinking tiger... or HALLOWEEN!)

Creating Is Fun goes Shabby

Today is the day!

If you are arriving here from Hannah
(who blows me out of the water)
then you are in the right spot!

If not, start at Martha's Blog and make sure to comment on everyone participating in the hop for a chance to win two great prizes!

I needed a little something for a birthday that is coming up, so I made this:

I used the cupcake chipboard from Shabby Scraps for the shape.

I added some Lace and Stretch Glittered Trim are from Creating Is Fun on the cupcake wrapper.

The cupcake is frosted with MyMindsEye pattern paper. The sentiment is from PTI.

The flower is a barrette. I made it also using lace from Creating is Fun. My dad got my some feathers from his neighbor that are black with white polka dots and I thought looked perfect with the flower!

(I have many similar hair bows for sale in my shop - link at bottom of post!)

Now head on over to KIMMIE'S BLOG to see some more fantastic inspiration!

Hard At Work

Wanted to share what I have been working on lately:

Beautiful floral Hair Clips!

These all can be found in my online shop!

Most of the laces used in my flowers are from Creating Is Fun, along with the centers (Except the rhinestones).

Thanks for looking!

Creating Is Fun SUMMER HOP

GOOD MORNING!

If you are just joining the hop for:

Then you might want to head back to Martha's Blog to start at the beginning.

If you came here from TAMEKO'S BLOG you are in the right spot.
(She is our TALENTED Guest Design Team member this month!)

I wanted to show off some of my summer creations.
First up is my Patriotic Hair Accessories.
This one is my FAVORITE! I layered red and white lace with the patterned Satin Blue Ribbon to make a very FULL flower!

The ribbon on this one is so fun. My son was given a gift for his birthday a while back that was in a spiderman gift bag. The bag was in my closet - and the boys killed it when they went hunting in the closet for things they shouldn't have (like a very large bowl of parade candy!). The handles on this bag had this very cool spiderman ribbon:
I combined the ribbon with some white lace, and then added a white/pearl button for the center to make this very FUN and unique Patriotic hair clip!

My poor model! I love this flower! It is so large! I believe it is between 4-4.5"!
I love the stars on the ribbon. Really great for the 4th of July!

Lastly, I have this fabulous polka dotted Red Satin flower with dark blue trim. I adore polka dots!

These were made using RED and WHITE Lace from the shop.
I couldn't find dark blue lace anywhere (I do mean ANYWHERE!), so I took some of this WHITE lace and sprayed it with SEI heat set dye to make my own!

Martha does have some BLUE TRIM that I used for the last hair clip.
I love that trim! Looks great in a flower!

(side note - - - I have many more PATRIOTIC flowers in my online shop HERE)

I wanted to show you something more than just flowers, so I wanted to show you a MAN's Birthday card I made using a little bit of lace embellishment!

There are a LOT of birthdays during the summer in my family.
My two older brothers, my Father-in-law, a few cousins, a brother-in-law...
So during the summer, I get to make a lot of birthday cards!

The smaller star is layered over leftover lace I had after making my flowers. I only had about 2" of white lace left and couldn't bring myself to throw it away!

Stars were cut with my Silhouette SD.
Pattern Paper is from a digital kit from Summertime Designs.
Stamped background is from Unity Stamp Co. (Flirty Flowers) and sentiment is from PaperTreyInk.
Ink used is Versamark Dazzle.

WHAT DO YOU THINK?
IS IT STILL MANLY?
EVEN WITH LACE ON IT?!!!

Now, leave me a comment to be in the drawing to win the gift certificate....

THEN, head on over to LETICIA'S BLOG to continue with the hop!
