Three for the price of one! I decided to try a NEW challenge for me, over at Kristina Werner's blog: http://www.kwernerdesign.com/blog/, which is Color Challenge #51:
Since I am usually not really good with the color challenges, I figured I would try two challenges in one to make it a little less terrible to look at! I went to Kerin's blog: Stamps, Paper, Glitter, to do her sketch challenge #12:
I also am doing the challenge for Cupcake Craft challenge #38 - Numbers because this card, in the end, fit into that category!
Since I am usually not really good with the color challenges, I figured I would try two challenges in one to make it a little less terrible to look at! I went to Kerin's blog: Stamps, Paper, Glitter, to do her sketch challenge #12: A color challenge requires that all the colors in the challenge to be used, but no more than that, while the sketch challenge requires all the elements of the sketch in your card, though it may be flipped or rotated.
Here's my card:
I didn't have the color challenge colors exactly, so I used the closest colors I had. Here is a close up of one of the butterflies:
And finally, here is a side view so you can see all the dimension I used on this card:
Once I got all the elements on the card, I really didn't have a lot of room for a sentiment, so I used some of my "clear stamps" alphabets and put together the "4U" so it at least completed the sketch!INKS: SU Pink Passion (closest to rose I have) used to muck up all my edges!, Pigment Ink Brown
PAPER: My Minds Eye 'Simply Delightful'
STAMPS: Verve Beautiful Kindness, Clear Stamps Alphabet
ACCESSORIES: Ribbon, dimensionals, Cuttlebug, Stylized Flowers Emboss Folder(used on 'mustard' color though mostly covered up!)
