Christmas All Wrapped Up

Today, Kelleigh has a Featured Favorite Template to show off!

I am using this adorable box to package some Christmas presents.

Naughty and Nice sentiment is from Unity Stamp Co.'s set Naughty. Nice. Not Sure.

Digital Paper and Snowman are from a collaboration at Pixels&Co. called Here We Come A Caroling.

I cheated a bit with the snowman. I put him in my Silhouette program, printed with the program, and then cut him out using the Silhouette! No fussy cutting for me! 

I made 8 of these cute boxes for the nieces and nephews.

I am trying to get a head start on those sappy cards to put in the boutique!

I used my Silhouette to cut out the little hearts and to make the "love" sentiment. 

I don't remember which font I used, but I welded the letters together in the program.

I used acetate to capture all the hearts and layered the love on top. 

I sewed it all with my new machine.

More Birthdays!

We attended a family friends birthday last weekend.

He turned the big ONE FIVE!

 

I think the best part of the party was when opening presents,

the present on the floor (in the unopened pile), started to ring!

How fun for him!

 

We also enjoyed the homemade ice cream!

Oh my!

My family LOVES homemade ice cream!

 

Anyway, I made a birthday card for the birthday boy:

 

I saw a card from PTI that had a similar look, so I cased it!

I cut the 15 and stars with my Silhoutte SD.

I don't remember what font the numbers are from.

The stars were from Silhoutte (I believe!)

I typed out the background in Word and printed it.

I stamped HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY from PTI on the inside since my numbers went over the birthday sentiment on the outside...

 

The button was from my stash and the twine is from my online store.

Birthdays Galore!

There are a LOT of birthdays around this time of year for my family.

 

I end up making a lot of birthday cards...

(When I'm not being craft lazy!)

 

Here are the ones I put with the birthday packages for my husband's niece and nephew.

 

 

The little monsters are made from bread tags. Aren't they adorable?

I saw someone's card on Pinterest (see here) and just knew I was going to have to case it.

 

The square box and sentiment were printed with the computer.

The cards are small and ended up being just 2.75".

Kelleigh Ratzlaff Designs CANISTER

First off... 

Sorry I have been so quite lately.

Trying to be a good farmers wife really takes up A LOT of time!

I have been waking at 6:40 each morning to shower before everyone gets up.

Then about 7 I wake Hunter for school.

We leave at 7:20.

When I get home, Chris and the farm hands who are staying with us for harvest head out to the farm.

I run errands or pick up the house or pay bills or whatever is needing done that morning until about 10:00 a.m., at which point, I start making lunch for the farm.

I try to be out there by noon each day, which means I have to leave the house by 11:30!

I am feeding the crew of six who are stripping cotton, Chris, Myself, Colton, and anyone else helping at the field that day!

Colton and I get home about time for his nap around 2:00 p.m.

I do whatever needs done around the house at this point

-lunch dishes

-laundry

-pick up toys

-my daily cleaning

-sit for a few minutes and breath!!!

Hunter gets home at 3:30 on the bus. He plays for a while, does homework, picks up toys until 5:00 p.m. (Colton is usually in that mix, when he wakes from his nap).

I have to start my dinner prep and cooking by 4:00, so we can leave by about 5:15 to haul food back out to the farm....

We get home between 7:15-7:45... just in time for baths, story, and bed!

Then I get to unload the car, restock the soda/water fridge in the garage for the stuff I take to the farm, dinner dishes, kitchen clean up....

AND THAT is why I have been kinda quite lately!

HALLOWEEN!!!!!!

Happy Day Late Halloween!

I made these really simple treats for Hunter's class. 

They are a little pouch that holds an airhead for each of Hunter's classmates:

I made a very SPECIAL treat for his Teacher:

This baby is Full of Mini Candy Bars!!!

I used the cutting files from Kelleigh Ratzlaff Designs CANISTER.

Kelleigh even made a picture tutorial on how to cut and put her cute little canister together.

Clear It Out in Yellow

Clear It Out for Dad!

Today is the FIRST Tuesday of the Month, 

which means it is my week to do the challenge over at 

CLEAR IT OUT!

This biweekly challenge is

THEME: Father's Day/ Male

STASH: Eyelets

To clear it out, I used some paper that has been on my shelf for over TWO years...

And my eyelets, which have been hiding in a drawer for about the same!  

I am NOT the biggest fan of eyelets (though I have many!), so this challenge was great because I actually used some of my stash!

I made an 8x8 layout:

I am not the best colorer, but I didn't do TOO bad!

I opened the Golfer Image into my Silhouette Studio program, 

traced him and offset him to make the black outline layer. 

I did the print and cut option. Very handy so I didn't have to cut him out by hand!

I let the trace be right on the outline of the digital image so he wouldn't have a white outline.

I paper pieced this image a LOT! I printed on 3 different pattern papers and my base for this image! 

The only one I can tell you is the monster was printed on paper from Summer Time Designs. The rest were scraps that I have no clue where they came from!

Here is another project I made using an image I purchased a while back from Bugaboo Stamps (our sponsor for the hop):

This is the little basket I made with my Silhouette for my son's Pre-K teachers for Valentine's Day. I designed the basket in Studio. I did the fence too!  I used the print & cut feature on Silhouette to print then cut the dragon. Much easier than having to cut him out by hand, though that isn't impossible!

The BE MINE Dragon is from the Clyde bundle I purchased a while ago at a discount. Bugaboo now has all the dragon images available for purchase separately HERE. 

 Here is the side view of this cute basket. The flower is a button from Creating Is Fun.

 As my son has TWO Teachers, I made TWO baskets! The colors are different, but they are the same! I used Copics to color in Be Mine Clyde. I used distressed Ranger Ink on the fence.
