Memories of Grandma

You can see all participating in Unity's Friends with Flair HERE

I was asked to put together a memory book of a families
grandmother for her 87th birthday!

The grand kids sent me a photo with Grandma, along with their favorite memory of her.

Kelleigh Ratzlaff has a new spring Paper Pack and Embellishments that she just released,
so it was a perfect time to put this all together!

And here is the Memory Scrap Book:

I love the paper from Kelleigh Ratzlaff Designs.

Thought this was a great opening for their Grandma's book.

I used a banner (left) from the EP along with a flower to journal and a small banner tag for each Grand Kids name. The Tag on Right is also from KRD and this one has a picture, while another one had journaling....

Another close up on the banner, flower, name tag.

The Embellishment Pack also had a cute ticket with a sentiment on it.
I removed the sentiment and made the ticket super long to accommodate this great (long) memory!

Here is another tag, along with a folded page. The memory was also a little long and so I doubled up the length of the page and folded it so it all would fit and then fold out.

Another tag with journaling.

SOOO loved this paper pack and embellishment pack.
Made making this last minute, big MINI scrapbook so easy!

Thanks for looking.

Think Spring

We have been having some very warm weather the past few days...
Like in the 60's.
So not looking forward to a very hot summer.
I have a feeling that that is the way things are heading.

has a couple of new items out today.
One is
and the other is

Both are on sale! Check em out!

I made a sample using the elements from the digital paper
and one of the cut files from the other:

I have been working a LOT with vinyl lately, so I decided I wanted to cut the cut file out of vinyl.
I took the vinyl and adhered it to a piece of acetate, and then put that on the card base.
So stinking difficult to photograph acetate!

I love the look though! You can see through all those little flowers to the base.

Feeling Lucky

Today is Friends with Flair over at

Make sure to stop on by.

Today I am showing off a cut little
Kelleigh Ratzlaff Designs.
I also used digital papers and elements to decorate the box
before cutting it out on my Silhouette!

The papers are called
and are on SALE today!

Do you see the little bee hanging around the flowers? It is from a past
Unity Kit of the Month...

The pink on came out pink on accident, but turned out too cute not to use!

My printer (Which I hate most of the time), doesn't tell me when the ink is low.
In fact, when the ink is "low", it stops printing in the color completely...
So when I went to print the blue papers from the kit, this is what printed:

BUT, I wasn't about to let the ink I did use on this print go to waste...
So I cut it anyway and ended up with a very unique box!

Isn't this box fabulous?
The box is also from
Kelleigh Ratzlaff Designs

The sentiment is so fun!
I put it on a tag from the Count The Ways Kit.
It is Unity called:

Everything was cut out using my Silhouette.
Just love this machine!
I have gotten SOOO much use out of it.

Also wanted to share a candle box set I made up.
I know Mother's Day is a ways off...
but it is NEVER to early to get started!

Hope you all have a great weekend.

Boutique Tags

I had some simple labels for my headbands at the local boutique, to tell different prices and sizes.
I made them ALL the same color....

This proved to be problematic.
People didn't want to look through the tags to find the size they wanted.
(all the headbands are displayed on the wall together)

When I realized this problem...
It just so happened that Kelleigh Ratzlaff Designs came out with a new kit called:

So very cute and fun!
I love the chevron paper in this pack!

Here is how I solved my problem with the tags:

I used two tags from the kit
(changed the coloring of the pink one to make my orange tag).

I used my Silhouette to cut out the circles.
It made cutting out 60+ tags of each color very easy!

Since I used print and cut, I was able to cut the little hole at the same time too!
I then used
(found in my online store for a really cheap price)
to tie them up and put on my headbands!

Love it!
