Clear It Out Tuesday

Good Morning!

It's TUESDAY...

And the 1st Tuesday of March, so that means there is a new challenge up at CLEAR IT OUT!

The challenge is
THEME: EASTER (bunnies, chocolate, spring colors)
STASH: Use up some of your pastels

Here is the card I made

Our sponsor is A Day For Daisies and I used their gorgeous Daisy Window.
I paper pieced the entire image.

I like to size my picture in word, then copy and paste about 4 of that image.
I print it out, then cut my scrap or pattern paper to fit the entire image and use temp tape to adhere it in place over the already printed image.
I then run the page back through the printer and have 4 pattern paper versions of the image.
I am then able to cut each piece I want from each paper to piece my entire image!

All my papers came from my scrap pile, so can't tell you where a single one is from!
Well, actually, the background on the image is from a fancy journal my oldest brother bought for me when I was like 10! The dotted paper is My Minds Eye, and the base is Image Plus+. The yellow... no clue!

Go on over to CLEAR IT OUT and see all the DT inspiration and see what the prize is this week!

Spring is Coming

I have been hard at work, playing with some new laces.
I also have been playing around with some stretch lace that I have had in my stash.
I have wanted to make headbands with them for the longest time, but just got the push I needed from my friend Martha!

Thirdly ~
Custom Packaging!
My good friend Michelle ordered some headbands from me for her little girls: Olivia, Rachel, and Rebecca!  They are ADORABLE!

Anyway, to make the flowers even more special for each girl, I printed their names on pattern paper and attached to the packaging. Didn't they come out awesome?

If anyone who purchases from my shop is interested in custom packaging... just let me know and i will make sure to make something special for whoever you are gifting the headbands, albums, cards too!

Sympathy

I HATE to make Sympathy cards. I really really really hate to have the need!

But sometimes, you do have the need...

I decided to keep this one very simple. It is for my parents neighbors (people I have known since I was under 10), who just lost their Great Grandkids to a horrific fire. I can't even imagine. Just the thought makes me want to cry for then.

Hopping Around...

Thanks for visiting my blog...

If you are here from Lisa blog, you are in the right spot.

If you happen here because you like to visit me on a regular basis (thanks!) and you should go start the hop from the beginning HERE.

One LUCKY commentor, picked at random, has the chance to win some Ippity stamps AND a Creating Is Fun package!!

I have a little Easter treat box to show you today using Ippity's NOW & ALWAYS set.

Isn't this little box adorable?  It is from Kelleigh Ratzlaff Designs! (Top Heavy Box

I cut out the box, then stamped the background stamp EVERYWHERE!  I then cut a whole with a paper punch and put vellum inside the box in front of the hole.

I made the handles with a office alligator clip. Took the silver parts off and attached to my box before putting the ribbon through!

This is the PINK Trim
and the YELLOW bakers twine
and don't forget the WHITE lace

I was given a fabulous stamp to work with (I already own this set), so I want to spread the love and give the background stamp I used on the box to ONE lucky reader.  Make sure to put your favorite color in your comment and you will be eligible to win this stamp!

I also have a card I wanted to share with you. I used an Ippity's for the sentiment and a Unity stamp for the flower image, along with a die from my silhouette and THIS PURPLE lace from Creating Is Fun!

And that's all from me!

Now head to Carisa's Blog.
