TGIF with Flair!

SO HAPPY IT'S FRIDAY!

I love Fridays because it is Unity's Day for their CUSTOMER blog hop for all the fabulous customers to show off their flair for crafting!

To see ALL the CUSTOMERS participating in the HOP, go to the UNITY BLOG!

I have a few things to show you today. Since it is my Birthday week (Wednesday was the big day!), I thought I would show you two Birthday cards I made for my family members in August (they already received them so I won't ruin the surprise by showing them now!)

This was for my mom:Inside:
Stamps: SKOM Moments in Bloom ~ May '10; SKOM the Right Words ~ July '10. Paper: Embassy (Black), Georgia Pacific (White). Ink: SU Perfect Plum, Unity/Palette Noir. Other: EK Success Embossed Scallop Punch, PURPLE ribbon!

And I think this one went to my aunt (I say think cause my Grandma and Aunt's birthdays are a day apart and I don't remember who got which card... other card to be shown at a later date!):This card and my mom's card are really similar, but I like the purple one a WHOLE lot better!

Stamps:
SKOM Moments in Bloom ~ May '10; SKOM the Right Words ~ July '10. Paper: Paper Company (Kraft & Red), Georgia Pacific (White). Ink: Unity/Palette Noir, SU Ruby Red, White Gel Pen. Other: RED ribbon!

My last card is a little 3x3 (and not a birthday card!):STAMPS: Unity Flirty Flowers; Ippity Thoughts from the Past. PAPER: Embassy (black), Georgia Pacific (white), Elise's Pieces "Flight of Fancy" (Clouds ~ digi paper that is on sale right now for just $1.63!) INK: Unity/Palette Burnt Umber, VersaMark. OTHER: White Embossing Powder, SU border punch.

I don't make a whole lot of cards this size since you can't really send them through the mail by themselves, but as you all probably know, I was selling off some of my UnLoved Unity stamps (still have some available HERE), and I wanted to send a little thank you with the stamps for those who bought from me as my appreciation!

Thanks for stopping by. Hope everyone has a fabulous Friday!

P.S. I bought the whole August Store Kit of the Month, and just don't see myself using the top portion (Harvest of Memories) and was hoping someone else would like to purchase it from me. If you are interested, please send me an e-mail at rabogner@cableone.net.
I am asking $15 plus shipping.

Love the bday cards - understated neutrals with pops of color and ribbon. And I absolutely adored that lil thank you card when I got my new-to-me stamps -- having much fun with them.

Beautiful creativity with this technique! I bet the receipents were thrilled!
Very pretty, and I love the little thank you note as well. A great way to use those little 3" strips you end with after cutting a regular size card! Thank you for sharing, have a great weekend!
