This card was made just for fun! Can you believe it?...
Okay, not totally for fun. I am working on my Personal Progress challenge that the leaders were challenged to complete right along with their Young Women! For those of you who are clueless to what I am talking about, it is a church thing!
For the summer, the Young Women Leaders are challenging the Young Women to complete on WHOLE value by August 19th. We are planning on having a party for all those who work their rear ends off to complete their chosen challenge.
I decided to work on the Value: INDIVIDUAL WORTH.
Scripture Reference: Remember the worth of souls is great in the sight of God (D&C 18:10).
Motto: I am of infinite worth with my own divine mission, which I will strive to fulfill.
This card goes along with the number 3 experience which is:

3. Read Doctrine and Covenants 18:10 and 121:45. Do all you can to build others and make them feel of worth. Every day for two weeks notice the worthwhile qualities and attributes of others. Acknowledge them verbally or in writing. In your journal write what you have learned about the worth of individuals and how your own confidence grows when you build others.
I am planning on sending a thank you note to my MIL and FIL as well as my own parents, and of course my DH.
For this Personal Progress Challenge, the YW will complete six experiences (three required and three elective) and then one ten-hour project!
Being the scrapper that I am {scrap book scrapper!} I decided for my 10 hour Individual Worth project, I would complete the following:
Compile your personal or family history using journal entries, pictures, and important papers
That's it!
I have already completed two new pages since the challenge was given. My son's scrapbook has two new pages with journal writing and pictures of his first "bull-hi-hi" and Hunter's train. {for more information, look through older posts!} I have also printed out pictures of our time in Colorado at the Zoo, Monkeying around with an Uncle, posing with the cousins, and being a cages wild animal! Those should keep me busy for probably the rest of my 10 hours!
And I was worried about completing the project portion of the Value!
Well, wish me luck in completing the whole challenge!
