Sympathy

I HATE to make Sympathy cards. I really really really hate to have the need!

But sometimes, you do have the need...

I decided to keep this one very simple. It is for my parents neighbors (people I have known since I was under 10), who just lost their Great Grandkids to a horrific fire. I can't even imagine. Just the thought makes me want to cry for then.

The main black layer is lace from CreatingIsFun!
~My FAVORITE so far from the shop.

Die cut is 1 piece circle frame by Samantha Walker and cut with my Silhouette.

Sentiment is from UNITY "With Sympathy"

Challenges:
Make It Monday - anything
Simon Says - anything
The Crazy Challenge - no designer paper
Party Time Tuesday - Monochromatic

There is still time!

Saw this post on the Sil SD fb group. Very clever using this black lace to add texture to your card. Think I'll have to rummage around through my sewing basket. Great price for the lace too!

What a truly beautiful sentimental card for such a terrible loss. These are the most difficult cards to make, but I know they will treasure the prayers and blessings that go with it.

Thank you for playing along with us at Make It Monday!
Remember, for a chance to win the prize from our sponsor, leave a comment for another entry and mention that you saw them on Make It Monday.
