Creating is Fun Blog Hop

How Exciting!  Today is Valentine's Day and we are having the first blog hop for Creating Is Fun.

(We still need about 20 friends on the Facebook Fan page and ONE lucky fan will win a gift certificate to the Creating Is Fun Store!)

You should have gotten to my blog from

If you didn't go back to the beginning at

Here are a few projects I made using some items from the SHOP:

I decided to do Operation Pay It Forward 2012 on Facebook. Posted a comment, and the first 5 people to respond to that comment, I am to send them a handmade item.  Here are the flowers I made for one of my friends. She has two adorable little girls, so I thought I would send her some barrettes for them!

I used a pink lace, cream lace, silver button - all from Creating Is Fun's shop!  The feathers are from last hunting season!

This flower uses THIS multi colored lace. I also used a black lace and button from the shop!

Both flowers have an alligator clip on the back to make them into the barrettes!  I can't wait to see pictures of them in the little adorable girl's hair!

My first card uses digital paper from MKC called Thrifty Finds Warm Hues. (I bought in a HUGE pack and so I got all the Thrifty Finds together for a heck of a steal!)

I used a button, brown seam binding, and pink trim on this card.
I also used another feather from this last pheasant hunting season! I have a WHOLE bag of small colorful feathers!
Sentiment is from Unity's FAITH stamp set.

Lastly, I made this card for my Mom and Dad's anniversary on the 19th.

DON'T GO ON MOM!

I used a grosgrain ribbon, a pink ribbon, white lace on this card.
I layered the light pink on the darker pink with scor tape and then bunched it and twisted it onto my card for a multi-colored look. I used scor tape and staples to keep the ribbon in place.

Pattern Paper is more Digi Paper from Summer Time Designs Winter Wonderland Kit.
Die cut is 1 Piece Circle Frame by Samantha Walker.
Image is from Unity's BETTER TOGETHER. I colored the bees with Copics.
Sentiment from PTI's MAT STACK 3 COLLECTION
