I am the guest Hostess for the Unity Addicts Challenge this week over on SplitCoastStampers.
I came up with a CoMpLiCaTeD ReCiPe challenge. It is all about YOU! You need to go look at the challenge thread on SCS for all the details, but the jiff of it is you will be using your initials and your birth month (a bonus option if you choose) to figure out what needs to go on your card using Unity/Ippity Stamps!
Here is my card:
My Initials are RAB and my birth month is September so I had to use KRAFT, WHITE + 1 Color, RIBBON, and 4 Layers (not counting the mats if I want and can include the base). Since my bonus is September, I needed to use the Wax Resist Technique. So fun!
I used a TIM HOLTZ texture for the wax resist (woodgrain), some Basic Grey dp, Unity's Moments in Bloom (May 2010 Store KOM) and Livin' & Lovin Life (Jan 2010 Store KOM), and some red and white ribbon. So my one color was RED, and I didn't have any Kraft or Crumb Cake ink, so I used the closest brown I had to Kraft.
