My First My Grafico DT Post!

So as most of you know, I was able to obtain a spot on the My Grafico Blog Challenge Design Team! So fun. And since my reign of terror started January 1, 2010 and will last until June 30, 2010 ~ this is my first challenge as an actual DT member! YAY!

So here's the deal with My Grafico... the challenge blog has two challenges a week to give you two chances to win a great set of digital stamps! The Monday challenge can be anything from a recipe to a color challenge and the Wednesday challenge is a sketch. They are always super fun and always a great challenge!

You don't have to use My Grafico digi stamps to participate in the challenges, but if you go to the My Grafico Shop, they offer FREEBIES, so you might as well use them, right?!

The first 2010 challenge is IN WITH THE "OLD" AND THE "NEW"....
We are blog hopping twice this week with two chances for YOU to win the Super cute Digi set the team is working with this week: Zenware Designs Circus! Whether you are hopping with us on MONDAY or WEDNESDAY, or even better, BOTH, be sure to leave a comment at EACH designer's blog for a chance to win this entire set! One member of the DT (previously chosen) will be randomly selecting a winner from all comments left on her blog.
Which designer?
Well, that's a secret! So make sure to leave a comment on ALL of the blogs in the hop telling them what you love about their example.
BUT that isn't the ONLY way you could win this set, you could also win by playing along with this weeks challenges!
Today's challenge is to bring in the New, while using the Old! This means to use the old (repurposed items) and the new (new items). Wednesday's challenge will be another GREAT sketch challenge, so make sure to play along!

The "old/re-purposed" item was part of a stamp package that I cut a circle out of with my circle nestabilities 3 times and made a home made button for each side of my box.

The "NEW" item on my box is the lion digi image from My Grafico and the DP paper I just bought on sale during the holiday seasons!

Isn't that lion cute? You can see the WHOLE set on the Challenge Blog.

STUFF I USED:
STAMPS: {Zenware Designs} Circus Stamps
PAPER: Georgia Pacific, DCWV Indian Summer (fall & glitter stack)
INK: Computer, Zig Markers, SU Markers, Dazzle VersaMark
ACCESSORIES/TOOLS: Tool Box Template (Kelleigh Ratzlaff Designs), Twill, Clear Embossing Powder, Dimensionals, Circle Nestabilites

Now keep on hopping by visiting LYNN and enjoy meeting our new Design Team members!

Hi Rachel... what a stunning box and the color mix is great! The 3-D effect on the lion is super COOL with the layers... :) Con'grat's on the DT post... you did an amzing job!

You don't waist no time starting the year off with fresh paint in your home!! Such a nice feeling... :) I have not posted the card I made using the Unity Stamp I won. The card was sent to Australia the Monday before Christmas and thought Debbie would have had it by now... she knows I was sending her one. She has been busy with company and the holidays.... she hasn't posted since last Wednesday. I'll wait a couple more days then just ask her if she received it. I want to post it... IT'S SO ADORABLE! :)

I know with the holidays and snail mail it can take up to 2 weeks, which would be today!
