STUFF I USED:
STAMPS: {UNITY} Oct '09 KOM ~ Wherever you Go
PAPER: georgia pacific, kraft
INK: SU Pumpkin Pie, SU Basic Black
ACCESSORIES: Ribbon
TOOLS: Cuttlebug, Texture Stylized Flowers

You are right, inking your embossing folder with the ink pad does give nice brush stroke effects... I must try with my Snowflake folder!! :)
