Growing In Unity Day 2 ~ Crazy for Daisies

It's me again... starting the SECOND day of MY week of Growing in Unity!

I have another great tutorial for you today on a technique called Burnt Batik.

(I miss pronounced BATIK when I did my tutorial, so if you would like to hear the correct way to pronounce Batik, go HERE. It is similar to Boutique, but with an "A" instead of an "O")

There is also a step by step picture tutorial on SCS found HERE.

Here is the finished card I made with this technique AND Unity's Crazy for Daisies:
STUFF I USED FOR THIS CARD:
STAMPS: Crazy For Daisies, Sending My Love, Bevy of Butterflies
INK: VersaMark, SU Pixie Pink, SU Tempting Turquoise
PAPER: SU Tempting Turquoise, SU Water Color Paper, Embassy
ACCESSORIES: Holographic Embossing Powder, Homemade Butterfly button
TOOLS: sponge, heat gun, water spritzer

Don't forget to comment on any Week In Unity Posts you enjoyed for a chance to be in the drawing!

And TODAY is the FIRST day of December, so make sure to check out the Unity Blog for a visual of the DECEMBER KOM!

And if you liked my tutorial, and would like to see a particular technique, let me know.

Wow that is a really pretty background Rachel. This reminds me of my gramma on my step dad's side because she used to do Batik on fabrics. It's beautiful!
