Growing In Unity 2016 - Day 1

Hey, guess what! It’s my turn to be the Growing In Unity Gal!

I know, I know. It’s been a while, but I couldn’t pass up my week to be a Unity Gal!

I have done Growing In Unity every year, on my Birthday Week for like the past FOUR years!

Did you know that by COMMENTING on my posts during this week, you could win some Unity? So, make sure to comment on my GROWING IN UNITY posts and Two Lucky people who leave a comment will get to have some awesome stamps shipped to them for free!!!!

In case you are interested, you can see all my Growing In Unity posts from the past and present by clicking RIGHT HERE!!!!

You can find Unity Stamp Company HERE to shop, or HERE to read their blog.

For my first project, I have a Christmas card.

Hey, it’s NEVER too early to start on your Christmas Cards!
Especially when you have over 40 to make, JUST for your own, personal mailing list!

I try to make it as easy as possible on myself. I do all the same image for the front… and usually everything is the same. This year is a little different. I found a cute paper pack at Hobby Lobby that has all Christmas paper, but only like 3 pages the same, with 20 different designs. So only 3 cards will have the same pattern paper, but the design is the same on all the cards.

Anyway, here is my card for this year’s mailing list:

The image is from OLD TRADITIONS
I have wanted this set for EVER.
From the moment I saw it, I knew I needed it. And then someone in the Unity Show and Tell group on facebook showed how they used it and I finally took the plunge and bought it!
I love that little truck.
I’m a farm girl, married to a farmer, and this little truck just speaks to me!

So, my birthday is September 1.
I always HAVE to do Unity for my birthday week… and this year, I almost gave it up.
I know right?
GASP!!!!
But I love Unity stamps so, I just couldn’t not participate!

Life has just been so stinking busy for me lately! My oldest is doing 3rd/4th grade football, which means I had to make football shirts for the parents.

I did orders and had 65 shirts (before my own shirts) to make in less than a week so parents would have them for Opening Day.
On top of that, we started school on the 22nd and I made “First Day of/Last Day of” Boards…

Not to mention all the other normal items I make for my little shop.
You can find my shop, along with all the shirts, signs, cups, glittered items
at R.A.Bogner Designs!

And I just have to take a moment to say thank you for coming and visiting me. I really appreciate you visiting during this fun filled week!!!

  1. I love the Christmas tree in the back of the truck. When I was little my Dad took us to the woods to pick out our tree and we would cut it down and bring it home. Thanks for the memories your card brought back. Jane King
